Farmschool at Eden Ridge Farm A pre-school based on montessori principles and rooted in faith that is hosted on the farm.

Here we welcome children to come learn from play-based and developmentally appropriate experiences where they and their families become an extension of ours.

We have a lot of new friends here since starting our first week of farmschool! We thought we'd make an official Welcome!

Welcome to a world where kids get to live out loud. Welcome to messy, to chaos, to learning through play!

Our little corner is filled with learning all about life through hands on experiences. We teach the preschool basics here but we know there's more important lessons going on too.

We see these farmers learn confidence through independence, they learn responsibility and to have determination.
They find out what it's like to be apart of a team, a family, and how to be dependable for the animals and their peers!
All of these and so so much more and we get to do it all while celebrating each other and learning how much Jesus loves us!

So many good things going on in our little valley and we are so glad you're here.

What a dream! Starting year 3 walking out to a circle drive is a "Made It" moment!

This improvement has completely transformed our drop off and pick up experiences, especially our morning routine! We get kiddos out of cars with boots and gloves on twice as quickly and that means more time for the important stuff like playing, learning and doing!

Under different circumstances, I think I'd be doing cartwheels out to those cars! 🤣🤸🏽‍♀️

Welcome to Farmschool, where we let nature play the main stage role in learning!

Yesterday the farmers practiced their cutting and gluing skills by creating this masterpiece on the porch before pick up. We love sitting back and watching their work take form and come together!

First day for Tuesday/Thursday crew was also a success!

It's so fun seeing the different dynamics in each class and how we have all of these perfectly individual little people ready to explore and learn here on the farm!

We can't wait to continue learning all about eachother and watching our farmschool family flourish.
This life, this school is truly a blessing to us!

And just like that another year is underway!

We sure did miss the kiddos around here and we had the perfect first day of meeting new friends, loving on old friends and exploring the farm!

We learned all about the different animals the kiddos found out in farmyard today, we practiced counting them. The farmers found and picked dozens of flowers in the garden and we played hard in the dirt and so much more!
The first day can't get much better than that!
Oh how we are certainly blessed!

Calling all Farmschool enthusiasts!

We have a unique opportunity for OPEN ENROLLMENT as we have 2 last minute seats available in our Monday/Wednesday session! We'd sure love to add to our Farmschool family by filling those up as our year gets under way this upcoming week.

Please reach out to us via email/phone if you're interested in your little farmer joining us this year. Our M/W session runs 08:30-12:30 for children aged 3-5 years who are potty trained.

Officially introducing Mr. Hobbs! Our sweet little 7 week old Holland Lop bunny. He came to us as a classroom pet after nearly giving up the search and he is sweet as they come.

We were torn on calling him Wally or Hobbs because of his first day in our care running errands to Walmart and Hobby Lobby 🤣 Hobbs was the clear winner after getting him settled in!

We know quite a few little farmers who are going to be excited to meet him!

Given the heat and disease this summer it's not been an overly abundant harvest and canning season for our garden but it has sustained the needs of our family this summer and for that we are grateful!

We are excited to get the kiddos out here to admire all the pretty flowers and remaining plants as we head into a fall garden crop!

No matter how successful the fruiting of the garden, it's always a place where lessons can be learned and fun can be had!
