Not a Phillies fan. Go Braves. All parents need to listen to this.

The hardest position in youth baseball isn’t shortstop or catcher.

It’s being the 12-year-old everyone expects to be a star.

Every strikeout feels bigger.
Every error feels worse.
Every bad game feels like you’re letting everyone down.

Parents—let your “star” kid struggle.

Let them fail. Let them have bad days. Let them be 12.

Don’t let the pressure to be great steal their love for the game.

Because at 12, they don’t need to be a star.

They just need to keep loving baseball.

Chance has been coming for a couple weeks now. Last night he hit his first ball from coach pitch in a game. No tee required. He has gained confidence and is now excited to go to games and practice. You are never to young to learn something.
