Leadership isn’t a title. It’s what you do when nobody is asking you to do it.

Two of our welding leaders have been working endlessly on two major projects—one to improve our welding shop and another to support our athletic department.

They didn’t wait for somebody else to get it done.
They saw a need. They stepped up. They put in the work. They built it.

That’s what we’re trying to create in CHSWelding.

Not just welders. Not just students. Leaders who take ownership, solve problems, and leave their school better than they found it.

The weld is just the skill. The work ethic is the lesson. 🔥

Another week. Another opportunity to build our students. 🔥

This week, CHS Welding students were exposed to three different career paths:

🇺🇸 Army National Guard
⚒️ Boilermakers Union Apprenticeship
🏭 Komatsu of Chattanooga

Different paths. Same message: work hard, develop your skills, and prepare yourself for the opportunity when it comes.

We’re not just teaching students how to weld. We’re teaching them how to work, compete, and build a future.

The standard is the standard.
