New Tech West

New Tech West New Tech West is moving to W 117th next year, 2015-2016. Students learn through projects that require critical thinking, creativity, and communication.

Imagine a school where students take ownership of their learning experience and their school environment. A school where students use technology and learn through collaboration with their peers. Where students are not only assessed on their understanding of content, but on their ability to apply their knowledge to solve real world problems. This is New Tech West. We are re-imagining education and providing more engaging experiences for our students. New Tech West is a small school where students collaborate on projects that require critical thinking, creativity, and communication. With access to laptops, every student becomes a self-directed learner who no longer relies on textbooks. With the School Wide Learning Objectives, students develop the skills they need to be successful in today's world.
