We are pleased to announce thst Short. Sweet. Film Fest will once again be showing a YFA film. Star Wars: Rise of the Younglings, will screen at the 2026 Short. Sweet. Film Fest at Atlas Cinemas Shaker Square on March 2 – 8, 2026. Stay tuned for exact showtimes. Congrats to all the cast and crew.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the end of an era. After nine wonderful years we are discontinuing the Summer Film Camp programs as well as the 8 Week Film School evening classes.

As we bid farewell to these cherished programs, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared. Our award-winning summer camp has been a groundbreaking initiative, nurturing creativity and talent in young filmmakers for years. We are immensely proud of the stories we've told, the skills we've developed, and the friendships that have blossomed within our vibrant community.

While we will miss the magic of summer camp, we are thrilled to announce an exciting new era for Young Filmmakers Academy. We are launching two new programs, The Shadow & Shine Collective and Reel Impact. Our commitment to fostering the next generation of storytellers remains unwavering, and we're dedicated to introducing these more immersive and innovative programs tailored to our students' evolving needs.

Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming offerings, and join us as we embark on this exciting new chapter together!
