Reading Camp Cleveland
READING ROCKS! Reading Camp Cleveland, is a week long, overnight camp for 3rd and 4th graders struggling with reading.
We provide a safe, nurturing, uplifting learning environment where children are encouraged to find the fun in reading and to gain the confidence needed to move forward in their schools and communities!

Yesterday the campers did some weeding in the garden, and even ate the peas that they picked! We had a visit from Tricia Springstubb last night, a local children’s book author, who led the kids through a writing exercise. Swimming in the pond helped cool us all off. Oh, and reading work in the morning. This is a great group of campers, and Bellwether Farm is a wonderful place!

As we had a rainy afternoon, the campers worked on crafts and indoor games. But this evening we were treated to a visit by Tricia Springstubb, who led them in an engaging creative writing activity. And we ended the day with a gorgeous sunset!
