There are more 10,000 identified species of isopods around the world, but the Rubber Ducky Isopod stands out with their style.
Back in 2017 Rubber Ducky Isopods where discovered in Thailand. They belong to the species Cubaris and are characterized by yellow duck faces and painted tails.
Rubber Ducky's have become one of the most popular species among isopod enthusiast.

Isopods ( rolly pollys, potatoe bugs, etc.) are in fact not insects, but crustaceans.
Their closest relatives are crabs🦀, shrimp🦐 and lobsters🦞.
With over 10,000 identified species worldwide, 4,500 species are found in marine environments, mainly on the seabed, another 500 species in fresh water, and 5,000 species on land.
Isopods existed in the Carboniferous period of the Paleozoic era. Dating them back nearly 300 million years!
