💐 Grandparents Day Celebration! 💐

We had a wonderful time celebrating Grandparents Day at our school! ❤️

It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, special memories, and meaningful moments between our students and their grandparents. 👵👴💕

We are so grateful to all the grandparents who took the time to join us and make this day extra special. Your love, wisdom, and support mean so much to our students and our school community.

Grandparent's Day — Monday, Sept. 14th, 7:30–8:20 AM in the gym. Join us for juice and muffins as we celebrate our HSA grandparents with a morning of snacks, smiles, and time with your students!

National Father's Walk — Wednesday, Sept. 17th, 7:30–8:20 AM in the gym. Celebrate the power of fatherhood and positive male role models with a clap in, pledge, coffee, and munchkins.

Dear Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are incredibly excited to welcome our returning families back and extend a very special welcome to all of our new families joining the Horizon Science Academy community.

Tomorrow is the big day—our first day of school! We cannot wait to see our students back in the building, ready to learn, grow, and make another year of great memories.

This year, we are excited to welcome new teachers and staff members, along with our dedicated returning team. We are especially proud of last year's accomplishments. Our school was recognized as the top-performing school in the network for CYSP, which is a tremendous achievement for our students, staff, and families. We want to continue that momentum and make this school year even more successful.

This year, one of our major priorities will be building and maintaining a strong school culture. We will have high expectations for student behavior, responsibility, respect, and readiness to learn. We expect students to move through the building safely and efficiently, with well-organized and respectful transitions between classes and activities. Most importantly, we are preparing our students to become role models and future leaders.

Parents, we ask for your partnership from Day 1. Please motivate your children, encourage daily attendance and punctuality, ask about what they learned each day, support their homework and reading, and remind them that their effort and attitude matter.

Together, with our students, families, teachers, and staff, we are ready to build on last year's success and make 2026–2027 our best year yet!

Countdown to Orientation! 🦅Join us this Monday, August 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM to kick off an amazing new school year! Come meet your teachers, find your classrooms, and explore the campus so you are ready to soar on day one.
