Our school-Age "campers' at DLC Foundation Station had an exciting day putting their math and observation skills to work with a Trail Mix Challenge!

The children sorted, counted, and recorded each ingredient before creating their own delicious trail mix to enjoy. This hands-on activity combined math, critical thinking and fine motor skills while tying perfectly into our Camping Week theme. Best of all they had so much fun learning together!
At DLC Foundation Station, we believe learning happens through meaningful engaging experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. We are so proud of our school-age campers for working hard, helping one another, and making learning an adventure.
