Step into the world of Bach with Cleveland's premiere Baroque ensemble.

Young string players are invited to spend a full day with the artists of Les Délices at The Music Settlement for Dancing with Bach, a hands-on workshop exploring the dance forms of J.S. Bach. Try baroque bows, learn baroque techniques, experiment with ornamentation, and play as a full ensemble, all culminating in a public performance for families and friends.

Extremely belated post of our spring solo recital back in April. So proud of this kiddos. Every recital just keeps getting better and better!

It’s so wonderful to see the students looking forward to supporting each other and hearing each other perform.

Hello NOYO musicians and families,

Many of you have written in wondering about the Winter Concerts this weekend seeing that Sunday is scheduled to be the worst day for the upcoming Winter Storm. Due to this, I have been working back and forth in communications with the folks at the Oberlin Conservatory about this issue and I am most happy to say that the Winter Concerts scheduled for this Sunday (January 25th) have been cancelled in order to keep everyone safe and out of potentially harmful weather conditions. The safety of our students, parents, coaches, conductors and board members have always been and always will be one of our primary concerns at NOYO.

We have worked things out with the Oberlin Conservatory to reschedule the Winter Concerts for the following Sunday (February 1st) in Finney Chapel.

All the soundcheck times from the Winter Concert Info Sheet will remain the same; all of the concert groups and times will remain the same and all tickets that were purchased for this Sunday will be valid for the February 1st performance.

✨ Winter break project complete! ✨

For my youngest beginners, we learn Pre-Twinkle songs—short, fun pieces that act as building blocks toward Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Each song focuses on one new skill, so by the time students reach Twinkle, they’re confidently combining skills they’ve already mastered instead of learning everything at once. Small, achievable steps lead to confidence, joy, and motivation in lessons.
