After spending a year conducting dissertation fieldwork in Cayey, Puerto Rico, CWRU PhD candidate Jacob Rivera is bringing those experiences into the classroom 🌴📚
Working alongside his PhD advisor, Associate Professor of Sociology Cassi Pittman Claytor, Rivera developed a new experiential learning course that will explore climate change, vulnerability and resilience in Puerto Rico through firsthand learning and cultural immersion.
