Get ready, Cleveland! The countdown to a brand new school year is officially on.

We are thrilled to invite all CMSD families to the 2026 Cleveland Back to School Festival. Join the City of Cleveland and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for one of our city’s largest family engagement events. This is your chance to gear up, connect with your community, and get ready for a year of success.

Mark your calendars: Saturday, August 8, 2026 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cleveland Public Auditorium

This event is completely free and open to all Cleveland families. We have an incredible day planned, featuring:

▪️3,000 free back to school kits
▪️Free books for children and families
▪️Free haircuts, face painting, and balloon art
▪️Hands on learning experiences
▪️Plus so much more!

We cannot wait to see our scholars and families there as we kick off a fresh start together.
