This week at LIUNA’s 27th International Convention in Las Vegas, Local 310 Business Manager Terry Joyce took the floor to speak about fund management and the importance of giving our Locals the ability to make the decisions that best serve their members.

Every region and every Local is different. Terry spoke about the importance of allowing Locals to select funds that are financially sound, profitable, and work best for their members and their specific region—without unnecessary restrictions limiting those choices.

That’s what strong representation is about: protecting our members’ hard-earned benefits, making responsible decisions for their future, and making sure the people closest to the membership have a voice in how those decisions are made.

Proud to see Local 310 represented on the floor of LIUNA’s 27th International Convention and advocating for the interests of our members.

Jimmy navigated this local through turbulent times with the hand of a surgeon and the heart of a lion. He was a laborer’s laborer that never wavered in his determination to give the men and women he represented a better life. Rest in Peace Jimmy. We are forever in your debt.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Local 310 Retirees Annual Christmas Party in Columbus. It was truly special to see so many brothers and sisters come together to celebrate the holiday season, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our union family so strong.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our past retirees. Your years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication laid the foundation for Local 310 and continue to inspire the generations that followed. Because of you, our brotherhood remains strong, proud, and united. We are honored to stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and continued health and fellowship in the year ahead.
