Case CCC researchers have discovered a new way to help the body rebuild blood cells after bone marrow transplants. Their research found that histamine (a chemical involved in allergic reactions) can slow the production of new blood cells, and blocking its effects with a common antihistamine improved blood-cell recovery in laboratory studies. It’s a wrap on Labor Day weekend and the Canfield Fair. We talked to over 3,000 people about , , and .

Big shout out to team member Calvin Tornes who covered the last two shifts today and made it a family affair by bringing his wife and two daughters along.

We’ve been at the Canfield Fairgrounds,Ohio since Wednesday passing out LaRoche Posay sunscreen and sharing information on sun safety, cancer prevention and screenings and clinical trials. It’s been great to engage with so many people. We’re at 2,000 and counting.
