We are excited to announce the second-annual “Camp Triple Threat” Summer Camp! If your child enjoys singing, dancing, acting, or all three, this camp is for them. Taught by professionals in each field with the faculty that helped bring the smash hit “The Prince of Egypt” to the stage this spring, this is bound to be a life changing experience for your students to be involved in Walker Valley fine arts.

Students will be divided into age groups to assure that they receive age-appropriate, challenging, and fun instruction!

This year’s theme is “Beats at the Beach” and will feature music from radio and film featuring Caribbean and beach themes! (Moana and Lilo and Stitch just to name a few!)

Walker Valley Musical Theatre is ALWAYS learning and celebrating!!

The cast of Walker Valley High School’s production of “The Prince of Egypt” is spending their Saturday in Chattanooga with the Tivoli Foundation as part of this weekend’s Jewel Awards!

This cast has been nominated for an astonishing 11 awards!

This evening, the cast will walk the red carpet at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium and perform “Deliver Us/The Plagues” on stage as nominees of the “Best Musical” category!

A huge shoutout to Carsan Humble and Joseph Warren on their nominations for “Best Actor.” As a part of this, these gentlemen will participate in an additional performance in an ensemble of all Best Actor/Actress nominees. The winner of this category will receive a 10-day, all expense paid trip to NYC to study musical theatre and perform at The Jimmy Awards this summer!

This morning student are in workshops with nationally recognized broadway performers, directors, and choreographers to further develop their craft!

It’s choir audition time in The Valley!

Students now have the opportunity to submit a virtual audition to be a part of the auditioned choral ensembles of Walker Valley High School!

Students have the option of auditioning for:
- Valley Voices (9th - 12th Women’s Choir)
- Chamber Choir (10th - 12th Advanced Mixed Ensemble)
- Mustang Vocal Collective (9th - 12th contemporary, popular music, a capella choir)

As always, any student wishing to be in Concert Choir does not need to submit an audition and should speak with their school counselor about signing up for the class!
