📚✨ Field Trip Fun! ✨🏛️
Today, our students had the exciting opportunity to visit the State Capitol! They explored the beautiful building, learned about how our government works, and got a firsthand look at the history and teamwork that help shape our state.

We’re so proud of how engaged and curious our students were throughout the day. What an amazing learning experience! 👏💡

Today, Nurse Mandy spent time with one of our kindergarten classes teaching them all about the importance of washing our hands. Our little learners loved the hands-on lesson and walked away with great habits to keep themselves healthy and safe! 💛👏

🍂✨ The Fall Cleveland Farmers, Bakers & Makers Market is back! Join us at the Delta Arts Alliance in downtown Cleveland every Thursday from Oct. 23 - Nov. 13, from 6:00 - 7:30pm.

This season is extra special - we’re kicking off during National Farm to School Month 🎉 and offering $10 market vouchers to Cleveland School District students, starting with Parks Elementary! Plus, later today be on the lookout for a video project with .ms to help shine a light on the passion, skill, and dedication of our incredible vendors who keep our local food system thriving. (Special thanks to the Bolivar Medical Center Foundation for making all of this possible!) Stay tuned!

Students have been learning about relationships between plants and animals in Unit 2 of our reading stories. This week they worked together in groups to conduct research and create a poster to show how different plants and animals depend on each other.
