What an amazing year of Career Exploration in Bradley County Schools elementary schools! 🌟

These pictures are just a small highlight of the many opportunities our elementary students experienced during the 2025–2026 school year. Across our schools, students have been exposed to so many hands-on activities that help them explore interests, learn about careers, and connect what they are learning in the classroom to the real world.

From Junior Achievement JA BizTown, Career Days, guest speakers, PIE Center visits, and 5th Grade Shadow Day, to STEM activities like the PIE TO GO STEM Bus, STEM in the Gym, Chemical Education Foundation “Be a Chemist” Challenges, A/V Morning Shows, PAT Clubs, greenhouse projects, and so much more, our schools are doing an incredible job creating meaningful experiences for students at an early age.

One of the best parts is seeing students engaged, excited, and already beginning to think about their future. These opportunities help students build confidence, teamwork, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills while exposing them to careers and possibilities they may have never considered before.

We are so proud of the work happening in our elementary schools and thankful for the teachers, administrators, and community partners who help make these experiences possible for our students every day.

What an amazing two days of 5th Grade Shadow Day at Bradley Central High School and Walker Valley High School 🎉

5th grade students from across all Bradley County Schools elementary schools had the opportunity to visit feeder high schools and experience career exploration in a fun and engaging way. Students were placed into small groups based on their interest survey results and immersed in the program of study that matched their career interests.

Throughout the day, students participated in hands-on mini lessons and interactive activities designed to give them a real glimpse into different Programs of Study and career pathways. Students also explored the CTE Fair, where they learned about a wide variety of Career & Technical Education opportunities. From healthcare and culinary arts to engineering, agriculture, criminal justice, and more, students were able to begin connecting their interests to future career possibilities.

A huge thank you to the teachers, staff, student ambassadors, and administrators at both schools who helped make this experience so meaningful for our future Bears and Mustangs!
