Nothing, just reminiscing on workshops at University Circle this past Fall and Spring 🌱 the workshops at University Circle build up to a culminating event for participants and storytellers to share what they’ve been working on. Prep your calendars for UCI this Fall ❤️‍🔥

Last week, we partnered with The Prolific Oxygen Dome™️ to facilitate two days of poetic seminars with Cuyahoga County Community College’s Youth Humanities Academy. We discussed the subject of “Good Soil” with the students, gave them free rein to study, observe, and explore the farm environment, slow read, and then got to work on writing! We ended the afternoon with a reading and discussion of what they’ve read, experienced, and expressed. The students were phenomenal! Both groups approached the workshop with curiosity and a willingness to become artists! We might’ve just made 30 more young poets in Cleveland ☺️🥳

We are looking for a team of volunteers for the Xpressions Retreat! Sign up to volunteer by August 3rd (this coming Tuesday). Volunteers will serve as administrative support, teaching Artist support, with tasks like handing out support materials and serving meals. Food is provided during your time volunteering and of course, participation in activities is encouraged during down time! Sign up in our bio! • On July 25th (this Saturday) we’ll be at the Prolific Oxygen Dome from 11am - 1pm

• On July 27th (next Monday) we’ll be at ATNSC from 6pm-8pm

• On July 29th we’ll be virtual with Siaara!
