Some of the most powerful learning doesn't happen in a classroom it happens when you walk into a new environment for the first time.

This summer, CARE Academy students stepped into spaces they'd never seen before: clinical settings, training labs, and healthcare facilities across Cleveland. They shadowed professionals, asked questions, and got a firsthand look at fields like nursing, sterile processing, and osteopathic medicine, not from a slide, but in person.

For a lot of these students, it was their first time in a hospital setting that wasn't as a patient. Their first time seeing what a career in healthcare actually looks like up close.

That kind of exposure changes how a young person sees their own future.

Grateful to every partner who opened their doors this summer and helped broaden what our students believe is possible!

There were early mornings, tough exams, moments of doubt, and days you weren't sure you'd make it... but you showed up, again and again, for yourselves and for each other.

Today, we celebrate not just the completion of a program, but the growth, resilience, and heart each of you brought to this class. You leaned on one another, pushed through the hard days, and came out stronger, more skilled, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of your future patients.
