Congrats to Indigo from our Spring 2026 cohort on completing her supervised practice hours! 🎉

She wrapped up her internship with a wellness rotation at the American Dairy Association Mideast, where she had a wonderful experience learning alongside a fantastic preceptor.

Our Meet the Fall 2026 Cohort series continues! 🎉

Next up is this group of interns led by Associate Director & Faculty Advisor Tristyn Patrick.

This group is now underway with their rotations, gaining experience at sites across the country and working toward becoming registered dietitians.

Kasumi kicked off her community rotation with The Sprouting Kitchen! 🌱

During her first week, she spent time at the Rio Grande Food Pantry and sent us a few photos from the experience, along with the review: “It was the best time!!” 💚

We’re excited to follow along as she continues her rotation and gains more hands-on experience in community nutrition.

RD exam preparation is integrated into the internship experience from the start. We help interns build confidence through exposure to exam-focused tools, resources, and strategies. 📚✨

BWS DI provides:

📱 Pocket Prep & All Access Dietetics Pass Class: Trusted and comprehensive study platforms to support ongoing preparation

📝 Practice RD Exam: All interns complete a full practice exam before finishing the internship. This is a great tool to help interns see where they stand in each domain so they can approach RD Exam prep with confidence and direction.

📋 RD Exam Resource List: Includes recommended podcasts, supplemental study materials, tutors, courses, and tools

🎓 Alumni Insights: Graduates share advice and strategies during the Professional Development Workshop

💡 Expert Exam Prep Session: Led by a prominent RD exam tutor during the Professional Development Workshop

👥 Peer Collaboration: Study groups or “study buddy” partnerships with fellow interns

👋 Meet Sarah Merz, our Program & Outreach Coordinator!

Sarah joined the BWS DI team at the beginning of August, and we’re excited to officially introduce her! 💚

In her role, Sarah supports BWS DI interns with rotation outreach and placement, helping connect them with supervised practice experiences that meet program requirements.

She also works closely with preceptors and organizations across the country to build and maintain relationships that create meaningful learning opportunities for our interns.

We’re so happy to have Sarah as part of the BWS DI team and are excited for our interns, preceptors, and partners to get to know her!
