In the fall of 2000, The White County Intermediate School opened its doors using the theme: "Believe, Achieve, and Succeed". Now, 16 years later, we are excited about opening our doors on August 8, 2016 as a K-5 elementary school using the theme: S.O.A.R "Supporting Others & Acting Responsibly".

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Falcon teacher, Mrs. Cady Hambrick, on receiving the Power of a Teacher Award from HEMC!

This special award recognizes one outstanding teacher from each county within HEMC’s service area, making this honor an incredible achievement.

Mrs. Hambrick’s dedication, passion, and commitment to her students truly embody the power of a teacher. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our Falcon family!

🚗 CAR LINE REMINDERS, FALCON FAMILIES!🚗

We know the beginning-of-the-year car line can take a little time to get into a good rhythm, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to make dismissal as smooth and efficient as possible!

A few important reminders:
**Please hang your car tag from your rearview mirror so it is clearly visible to our staff.
**Need to adjust a seat, buckle a car seat, help your child get settled, etc.? Please pull forward and out of the car line near the grass before stopping. This helps us keep the line moving for everyone behind you.

*Dismissal begins at 2:40 PM.
*Car line begins moving at approximately 2:45 PM.
*Please be in the car line by 3:00 PM.

Around 3:10 PM, any students who have not been picked up will be brought back inside and you will need to come to the front office to get them.

ACE Families: If your child is registered for the ACE after-school program and has not been picked up by 3:15 PM, we will send them to ACE.

Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we work through these first few weeks and get our car line routines running smoothly. Our goal is to get every Falcon home safely and efficiently!

The smiles were big, the classrooms were buzzing, and the excitement was contagious. 💙🦅

What a wonderful first day at Tesnatee Gap Elementary! From welcoming new faces to reconnecting with familiar ones, today was filled with learning, laughter, and the best kind of energy.

Thank you to our amazing students, families, teachers, and staff for making the first day such a success. We can’t wait to see all the incredible things our Falcons accomplish this year.
