Updates from the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society meeting: Dr. Bambakidis served on an insightful leadership panel with the other Ohio program Chairmen and gave an excellent talk on open vascular management of aneurysms. Dr. Defta presented her poster on our institutional experience with ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysms. And our student Austin Kennemer presented his research on TBI. Always a great meeting for networking among Ohio neurosurgeons.

Celebrating Dr. Bambakidis as The Harvey Huntington Brown Jr. Professor in Neurosurgery. Carrying on a wonderful legacy of leaders of the University Hospitals Department of Neurological Surgery.

It was a busy weekend for everyone. Had a contingent representing us at AANS and for those of us holding down the fort our fearless leader hosted a Greek Easter lamb roast complete with department baby representation! A few of our residents were lucky enough to make both!
