🎨 The MAEA Spring Conference in Ocean Springs was nothing short of fabulous this past weekend!! Anddd I got to do it with one of my favorite humans ever, . 💜 was awe inspiring, you can literally feel the deep love and history behind the art of the Anderson family. Even got in a little ceramic work, first time in YEARS, and it felt SO GOOD!! 🌊

🎶 💻 We have been playing around with coding the past 2 weeks and this Thursday & Friday the students were challenged to code.org’s Music Lab assignment- at the end of the assignment they could make their own song using blockly code. This sound is by Ayden in 4th grade! 💻 🎶

STEM Scholarship!!

Eligibility: Applicants to the National STEM Excellence Scholarship Program must:

• Be high school seniors, high school graduates or current college undergraduates in the United States (U.S.) who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire 2025-26 academic year.
• Be seeking a degree in a STEM related area of study.
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

National STEM Excellence Scholarship Program - Scholarship America The National STEM Excellence Scholarship Program provides $10,000 scholarships to U.S. STEM students at four-year colleges or universities.

🎨 CSD Art Teachers blew it out of the water with their Family Arts Night last night! A good time was had by all, it was a hands on learning experience for all little (and big) artists around! It was so good to see everyone!!

🦅 CSD Gifted teachers traveled to Jackson today to attend Gifted Day at the Capitol. It was wonderful to see all of our gifted colleagues from all over the state!
