Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance – a day to commemorate the transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming persons who are targeted and killed for living authentically and courageously. Trans individuals are a part of every country, every culture, and every faith tradition.

Join us this Thursday, October 24 from 11a-1p in SC atrium for the Fall Student Organization fair! The Student Organization Fair is an engaged learning opportunity to explore the more than 200 student-powered organizations currently active on campus at Cleveland State University and learn more about how to get involved!

All Rise: A Festival of Film and Law is running from October 14–18, presenting a carefully curated selection of films that delve deep into the complexities of the legal system, highlighting how film serves as a powerful medium to reflect on justice, ethics, and the human condition. Each screening will be followed by insightful panel discussions featuring legal experts, filmmakers, and guest speakers, designed to provoke meaningful dialogue about the societal impacts of law.

TONIGHT starting at 5PM on the Engineering Lawn, CAB presents outdoor movie night with "Jaws" to celebrate Shark Spirit Week! Popcorn, blankets, and a big raffle for students wearing CAB/Spirit Week merch!

All are welcome to attend a panel discussion featuring Cleveland State University experts in law, communications and government today, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. in the Student Center's Glasscock Family Foundation Ballroom (SC 311). Learn about free speech and how to exercise fre e speech on our campus, as well as what is protected and not protected under the First Amendment.
