REMINDER… No School Tomorrow Explorers!

Happy Labor Day weekend, CMSD!

As we prepare to celebrate Labor Day tomorrow, Monday, September 7, we want to remind our families that all CMSD facilities will be closed in observance of the holiday.

We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of our staff, families, and community members who help make our schools stronger every day.

We wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday and look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Tuesday as normal!

Great way to raise money for the SPO-the school, the kids and the staff….

PLUS get that VIP parking!

Campus International is an excellent school with terrible parking.

We cannot fix the parking problem for everyone. But we can fix that parking problem for one VIP (very important parent).

Next Wednesday, for Open House, we are going to raffle off one parking spot in the school parking lot. The spot will be available to the raffle winner starting at 5:45pm. No need to circle the block!

We have set up an account to collect your raffle ticket purchase.

The parking spot winner will be chosen at noon on Wednesday September 9th. We will notify you and block off your special parking spot.

Funds raised from the raffle will help the SPO continue to support our school, our students, and our teachers.

Campus International School has had a long community partnership with Progress with Chess . The director of Progress With Chess is Mike Jolsen and he has dedicated his professional career to getting more children playing chess.

Mr. Jolsen's birthday is coming up and he wants to celebrate with a chess tournament, of course. It is not an official CIS event, so you have to register your own student player and get them to the event. It will be a great first tournament for any new Campus players. Also a fun challenge for our regular chess team members.

Our Grades 3 & 4 Explorers had a rare and exciting opportunity to meet Blue Angels pilots at Cleveland State University!

Our students embraced the IB Learner Profile by being Inquirers asking thoughtful questions, seeking new perspectives, and engaging in meaningful conversations with these incredible pilots.

Their curiosity and enthusiasm turned a unique experience into an authentic learning opportunity!
