📢 Campus Update

Delta State will return to normal operations on Monday, 2/2/26, following the recent ice storm.

✅ Campus closed through Sunday
✅ Cafeteria open daily, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., for students and essential staff (regardless of meal plan) watch Okra Alerts for expanded hours later in the week
✅ Statesman Shelf open Thursday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
✅ Wyatt Center open Noon–4 p.m. (through Saturday)
✅ Basketball games will continue as scheduled
✅ The Music Man performance canceled

⚠️ Some areas remain icy. Please use caution when walking by buildings and trees.

Students who left campus should return no earlier than Saturday.

❄️ Winter Weather Update ❄️
Delta State will remain closed through Tuesday, 1/27 due to icy conditions.

🍽️ Young-Mauldin Cafeteria will be open 11 a.m.–2 p.m. daily with meals available for all students with Okra ID and essential staff.

📚 Faculty will share updates through Canvas. Students with connectivity issues will not be penalized.

The Social Work Club along with Phi Alpha and NACSW are working together to fill shoeboxes for children for Christmas!! We invite you to join us by dropping off donations on November 5th at the Student Union between 12-2pm. If you cannot make it, we can receive your items in Ewing, Office 150, OR you can send funds to help pay for shipping of the boxes through Venmo!
