If you haven’t signed your children up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to have a free book mailed to your home monthly, do so before July 1st as the state will stop free enrollment then due to state budget cuts.

Parents as Teachers programs across the state of Missouri NEED your support. The Missouri legislators will meet again tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11 in the morning to make some important decisions on preschool and PAT funding.

As the language is currently written, Parents as Teachers services could NOT be provided to families when their child is enrolled in a public school preschool program. If enacted, many districts would be forced to STOP providing services to families once a child enters preschool. NO visits, screenings, group connections...NO SERVICES. This could lead to families losing critical supports in communities across Missouri.
