📚❤️ Read for the Record at Michigan Avenue! ❤️📚

A HUGE thank you to our incredible community partners who took the time to read with our Wolverines! From our sheriff’s department and school leaders to our coaches and local business partners, we are so grateful for the people who continue to show up for our students and support their love of reading.

It takes a village, and we are thankful to have such an amazing one! Thank you for investing your time, sharing your stories, and making a difference in the lives of our Wolverines! 💙💛

🎨🌈 Patterns, Colors, and Creativity! 🌈🎨
Our fourth graders had a blast learning about patterns and colors while tie-dyeing their very own field trip shirts! Students used their creativity to design unique patterns and experiment with different color combinations. What a fun, hands-on way to bring learning to life while getting ready for our upcoming field trip! We can’t wait to see everyone wearing their colorful creations! 💙

⭐ Leader of the Month: Responsibility! ⭐

We love celebrating our Wolverines who lead by example and show what it means to be responsible! 💙💛

And how sweet is it when responsibility runs in the family?! 🥹 This month, we had a brother-sister duo AND a pair of sisters recognized for demonstrating responsibility!

To make it even more special, our Staff Leader of the Month was recognized for responsibility alongside her daughter, who also received the Student Leader of the Month award! 🥹💛

We love seeing these leadership traits shine throughout our MAS family, from our students to our staff! Congratulations to all of our Leaders of the Month for setting such wonderful examples! 👏

➖🧠 Big Thinking in 2nd Grade! 💙💛

Our 2nd graders are putting their math brains to work as they tackle subtraction with regrouping! ✏️🔢

Students are learning how to break apart numbers, use place value strategies, and strengthen their problem-solving skills. Every challenge is an opportunity to think, grow, and build confidence as mathematicians! 🌟

We love seeing our young wolverines work hard and discover that big problems are no match for little problem-solvers! 💪📚
