I’m a Jesus the Christ following, wife, mother, entrepreneur, and lifestyle management coach on a mission to help women live God honoring lives cresting impeccable impact.

My assignment is to empower women who wear all the hats: wives, mothers, ministry leaders, and business owner by creating a space for support in my community. 🙏🏽

So back in June at the 12-hour Prayer I heard “pray for 90 days”, but I didn’t know when to start.

As I prayed into it…He told me, “the last 90 days of the year, for the next 90 days of the year”.

So I went to a date calculator and got October 2, 2024 to start a 90-Day prayer journey.

I’ll be over on YouTube for sure and maybe here on FB at 5:30am EST every morning. I hope you can join for 15-20 mins of prayer. 🙏🏽

Do you know what an excuse is?

It’s you defending your right to be ‘excused’.

God told you to work on your marriage, why should you be excused from that?

He told you to write that book, why be excused from that?

He told you to take your business seriously, but you won’t get the coaching, learn the marketing, or get in the business community.

Our biggest hold up is us and our excuses.

Please commit to NO MORE EXCUSES!

A few years ago Ezell and I joined The Light Church and our lives haven’t been the same since! ⁣

Our marriage elevated, our parenting elevated, and now we are answering the call to ministry. ⁣
⁣
I don’t need any titles or anything like that… the only thing I need is for God to be pleased with me.🙏🏽⁣

Until He and I have that conversation, I have the humble honor of being elevated in ministry at next week. ⁣

I have a feeling you might not like me after this…🤦🏽‍♀️⁣

You see, I have 10 reasons YOU are stuck and frustrated… and they might be some hard truths. ⁣
⁣
So back in the day (2012), I used to pride myself on doing all the things in business. ⁣
⁣
But I was struggling BIG TIME. ⁣
⁣
I needed to make some changes. But… only after I took a hard look at what was stopping me. ⁣
⁣
—> I wanted Homelife Harmony⁣
—> I wanted a Stressed-Less Life⁣
—> I wanted to grow my business⁣
—> I wanted greater Spiritual Alignment⁣
⁣
So why wasn’t this thing working? 🤔⁣
⁣
Well, here we go….⁣
1. I avoided challenges⁣
2. I wasn’t self reflective⁣
3. I feared making decision⁣
4. I didn’t set realistic goals⁣
5. I wasn’t true to my values⁣
6. I was not generous in my giving⁣
7. I lacked time management skills⁣
8. I didn’t trust enough to delegate
9. I did not have authentic relationships⁣
10. I feared the coaching process (and payment)⁣
⁣
Do any of these resonate with you? ⁣

So this is what I did… and what you can do TODAY to see changes in your life and business. ⁣
⁣
✨ Identified where I was not honoring values⁣
✨ Identified what was preventing me from honoring them⁣
⁣
Once I did that, I came up with one thing to change and implement in a day.⁣
⁣
Here are 5 day’s worth for you:⁣
Day 1: Asked God for Help⁣
⁣
Day 2: Talked to my husband about the changes I wanted to make⁣
⁣
Day 3: Pulled out my planner and time blocked⁣
⁣
Day 4: Set digital time limits, notifications, and remove apps to prevent distractions⁣
⁣
Day 5: Celebrate progress in the commitment to become better organized and disciplined⁣
⁣

Look, I get it… as women we wear so many hats. ⁣
⁣
We are:⁣
✅ Wives⁣
✅ Mothers⁣
✅ Business Women⁣
✅ Ministry workers/ leaders⁣
⁣
We are many things to many people, but who are you today?⁣
⁣
You know what you are really considering?⁣
⁣
You are considering how to be present.⁣
⁣
You are trying to manage how NOT to not get overwhelmed with the roles.⁣
⁣
And I get it… ⁣
⁣
First let me say, you are a chosen child of God. ⁣
⁣
He created you to do great things and knows just how much you can take. ⁣
⁣
And newsflash… you can’t take it all on. ⁣
⁣
So, He gives you an opportunity to lean in on Him! ⁣
⁣
✨He is your strength ⁣
✨He is your peace⁣
✨He is your joy⁣
⁣
Today… as you think about “who you are”, be okay with: ⁣
1. Not multi tasking and filling your plate⁣
⁣
2. Communicate with those who can support you. ⁣
⁣
3. Keep calling on the Name of Jesus.. He is your STRONG tower! ⁣

Today I almost quit! Have you ever felt like that? ⁣

Glancing at my planner today almost took me out! 🤦🏽‍♀️⁣

It looked “busy” to me… and the thought of busy makes me shut all the way DOWN! ⁣
⁣
And over the years I’ve realized that work life balance does not work!⁣
⁣
And it may not may not be working for you either. ⁣
⁣
Most women l lack effective time management skills. ⁣
⁣
When we struggle to prioritize, delegate, and set boundaries, it’s hard then to achieve harmony between work, personal life, and spiritual life. ⁣
⁣
Then you tend to get overwhelmed , experience burnout, and feel like you can’t catch up.⁣
⁣
But I got you! ⁣
⁣
Here are 5 ways to live a more “harmonious” lifestyle:⁣
⁣
1. Sabbath Rest⁣
2. Prioritizing Margin⁣
3. Implement Digital Detoxes⁣
4. Practice Gratitude Journaling⁣

What IS full-time vs part-time entrepreneurship?

I say I am a full time entrepreneur because I don’t have a “9-5” for additional income.

But I also:
—> Serve my husband (laundry, food, cleaning, all of it)

—> Make a FULL breakfast every... EVERY morning

—> Prep and cook dinner and do every ounce of housework

—> I lead in several areas of ministry at church

—> Find time to shop for the home

—> I serve in my community of women and coach and mentor them.

Just thinking... I invest more time with those activities than I do in my business, so am I REALLY a full time entrepreneur?

How do we measure?

And how to we harmonize these activities with those in our business?

1. First, keep God first then your husband.

2. Use a schedule and communicate with everyone what that looks like (this is HUGE).

3. Be patient and continue to adjust as your life and responsibilities shift.

4. Create systems that work for how you move and flow throughout your day.

5. Take time in the evening to prep for your next day and reflect on what went well, and how you can make the next day even better.

I always get nervous when they scan the last item at Costco. ⁣

It’s the Single Mom PTSD that I still have of not having the money for things I considered splurges but were necessities in some homes (like Clorox wipes, or Zip lock bags).⁣
⁣
But this time I had to take on a different mindset. ⁣
⁣
He gave me the total of $470 (which was actually kinda cool because it was also my 47th birthday that day).⁣
⁣
I gave him the Visa and proceeded to get my receipt checked at the door. ⁣
⁣
I text my husband the total at which he didn’t blink.⁣
⁣
He then called in excitement to get the details of the purchase. ⁣
⁣
-Eggs⁣
-Lemonade⁣
-5 lbs of Crab⁣
-7 Huge Ribyes⁣
…and a few other things⁣
⁣
But what I noticed about our conversation was how I shifted my words from “spending” to “investing”.⁣
⁣
You see… that trip was for our first family dinner in our new home. ⁣
⁣
It was to be the catalyst for moments of ⁣
⁣
•Love⁣
•Peace⁣
•Memories⁣
⁣
Spending generally means you expect no return. ⁣
⁣
But investing indicates intentionality and expectation.⁣
⁣
By leveraging our $470 I had an expectation that my family will grow closer.⁣
⁣
So what did I take from this:⁣
1. Family is worth it⁣
2. Analyze the benefits⁣
3. Celebrate personal growth ⁣
⁣
How can you do the same?⁣
1. Identify values⁣
—What are the things that you value most? ⁣
⁣
2. Weigh the cost⁣
—how will the investment benefit in the long run? ⁣
⁣
3. Create small goals⁣
— outline the strategy and celebrate the milestones⁣
⁣
BTW, dinner was a HIT! ⁣
⁣
Effective Lifestyle Management is possible! ⁣
⁣
