Summer lessons have been such a joy this year!! Some of my highlights…
- several of my families are taking bi-weekly lessons this summer. I’ve been loving the opportunity to work more intensively together and see rapid progress!
- Many of my students who attended Atlanta Suzuki Institute had some really inspirational experiences and big breakthroughs. I’m always amazed at the power of Suzuki Institute! Next year, I hope every single one of my students will attend!!
- A more flexible schedule means I’ve been able to take a longer lunch break, which has made a big difference in my endurance and mental capacity for long teaching days! Definitely taking this one into the fall with me!
- it’s the summer of vibrato, alternating bow pattern and O come Little Children. I have so many students working on these skills!! It’s a good thing that every child is different and no two students learn the same… even when I’m teaching the same skills throughout the day, it never gets boring!!

Summer is already drawing to a close and next week I begin to take the deep dive into academic year enrollment and planning. I’m already so excited for group classes to start up again!! I’m also excited to enroll some new students who have been patiently waiting for an opening in the studio. If you’re on my waiting list, you should be receiving an email from me soon!
