Alpha Eta Rho- Delta Psi Chapter

The Delta Psi Chapter of Alpha Eta Rho proudly welcomes our newest members. We look forward to your growth, leadership, and contributions to our fraternity and the aviation community.

Meet Cole Martin! He is a sophomore from Hernando, Mississippi. He is Instrument Rated and currently working toward his Commercial certificate. When asked about Alpha Eta Rho, Cole shares, “My favorite thing about AHP is growing not only as a pilot, but as a person alongside others who are pursuing the same career as me.” He values the shared journey and personal development that comes from being surrounded by like-minded aviators.

Meet Sennett Watkins! He is a junior from Tupelo, Mississippi, and holds his Private Pilot rating. When asked about Alpha Eta Rho, Sennett says, “AHP is a group where you don’t have to weigh the pros and cons of joining—it’s all pros. It’s a way to meet like-minded individuals with similar goals and a desire to achieve our very best in aviation. It’s an investment that gives back more than we could ever imagine, and to me, it’s the best decision I could make while finishing my time at Delta State.”

Meet Our Vice President – Heath Heinz is a senior from Olive Branch, Mississippi, and serves as our Vice President. A Commercial Single- and Multi-Engine pilot with an Instrument rating, he has previously held the roles of Secretary and President. Heath shares, “I love AHP because of how close you become with your classmates—you make lifelong memories and connections. I love serving others, helping new students, and building a strong organization that benefits aviation students at Delta State.”

Meet Jace Moore! He is a freshman from Southaven, Mississippi, and a rising sophomore working toward his Private Pilot certificate, with plans to begin instrument training next semester. When asked about Alpha Eta Rho, Jace shares that his favorite part is “the friends and fellowship within.” He values the strong sense of community and connection that makes AHP feel like more than just an organization.

Meet Our President – Maddox Davis, a senior from Fairhope, Alabama, and a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), serves as our chapter president with a passion for both leadership and aviation. When asked what he loves most about Alpha Eta Rho, Maddox shares, “This organization is much bigger than myself or just something at Delta State. It connects people who love aviation from all over the country and from many generations.” He values the powerful network AHP creates—bringing together aviators who share the same love for flight and a vision that extends far beyond campus.
