Our Mississippi Delta GEAR UP Partnership met together with district partners, educators, and stakeholders for a day of professional learning, collaboration, and preparing for student success. Participants received in-depth FAFSA completion training, facilitated by our partners at Get2College, equipping our district teams with valuable information and resources to better support GEAR UP scholars and families through the financial aid process.

Participants also learned about additional opportunities available to help students reach their educational and career goals, including the McNair Program and other pathways that can support students as they prepare for life after high school. From financial aid to college access and beyond, these conversations help us continue breaking barriers and expanding opportunities for Mississippi Delta GEAR UP scholars. Our program team enjoyed connecting with our junior and senior scholars and sharing important information about upcoming GEAR UP events, surveys, and opportunities.
