Friends in the greater Cuyahoga Valley metropolitan area, come hear an encore performance by Hunter Peterson this Sunday at 4:00 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wadsworth, OH. Hunter will play works by Bach, King, Langlais, and Widor. This recital is free and open to the public.

Friends in the Cleveland metropolitan area, come hear an encore performance by Carolyn Hoff this Sunday at 4:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace in Shaker Heights of works by Bach, Lucke, Reger, and Whitlock. This recital is free and open to the public and is also Carolyn's final recital at CIM. We wish her all the best as she moves to Atlanta this summer to take up her new position at The Cathedral of St. Philip.

Bravi to Davis Badaszewski and Carolyn Hoff who were both presented with awards last Friday at CIM's 2026 Honors Convocation. Davis received the Henry Fusner Prize in Organ, recognizing outstanding achievement in the Organ Department. Carolyn was awarded both the Heinrich Scholarship in Organ, recognizing outstanding achievement by an organ major and the Drs. Richard and Beth Nelson Award in Music Theory, recognizing outstanding achievement in music theory. Many congratulations to you each of you for these well-deserved awards!
In addition, Carolyn received the distinct honor of being named the Gilbert M. Brooks Dean's Award winner as Valedictorian for the Class of 2026 at Commencement on Saturday. Congratulations, Carolyn, on this august achievement!

Friends in the Cleveland metropolitan area, recent Doctor of Musical Arts graduate, Davis Badaszewski will perform tomorrow at noon at the Church of the Covenant (PCUSA) as part of their Tuesday Noon Organ Plus series. Davis will play works by Friedell and Hancock on the church's Holtkamp/Aeolian-Skinner organ. This recital is free and open to the public.

Friends in the Cleveland metropolitan area, CIM Organ Department Doctor of Musical Arts candidate, Davis Badaszewski will present his third and final Doctor of Musical Arts recital today at 7:00 PM on the 1927 E. M. Skinner pipe organ in Lake Erie College's Helen Rockwell Morley Memorial Music Hall. Davis will play works by Bach, Friedell, and Hancock. This recital is free and open to the public.
