Tomorrow is the last full day of school for students as we wrap up another incredible year in Bradley County Schools!

Nothing is IMPASTABLE when we work together! Sixth graders collected boxes of pasta and donated them to The Caring Place. Thanks to our student leadership team, parents, and Corinne Freeman for helping with this project.

Each semester, Bradley County Schools recognizes one secondary ELA teacher who demonstrates a passion for literacy, a commitment to growth, and excellence in instruction that helps students become stronger readers and writers.

🎉 Congratulations to Jodi Cofer of Ocoee Middle School, our Secondary ELA Teacher of the Semester! Mrs. Cofer consistently goes above and beyond by leading her team through lesson studies, volunteering to go first, and modeling vulnerability and collaboration to support the growth of others. Her leadership and dedication to continuous improvement make a lasting impact on both students and colleagues.

🥳We are very excited to celebrate our Lake Forest Middle School and Ocoee Middle School Career Technical Student Organizations HOSA and SkillsUSA at the Bradley County Schools May Board Meeting.

🎉 Bradley County Schools had 21 students attend and compete at the TN State Leadership Conference and 21 students left with medals, 🥇13 Gold,🥈 7 Silver, and 🥉1 Bronze!

🏆Thank you to our CTE teachers Emily Wilson Tucker, Janie Holland, Jami O'Ellis Thomason, and Michael DelBonis for investing in the students.

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming back our graduating seniors for our very first Senior Walk! 🎓✨

It was a special day filled with smiles, memories, and celebration as our students walked the halls one more time. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see the amazing things their futures hold.

Congratulations, seniors — your Ocoee family will always be cheering you on! 💙

Our 6th grade STEM students have spent the past month becoming experts on endangered animals! 🐾🌎

Working alongside the Chattanooga Zoo, students learned what it takes to create a successful animal habitat and enclosure while researching the needs, behaviors, and conservation challenges of their species.

This week, they proudly showcased their habitats and all of the knowledge they gained along the way! We were so excited to welcome our friend from the zoo, Mr. Josh, who came to tour the projects, quiz students on their animal expertise, give valuable feedback, and even bring along a special animal friend! 🐍

We love partnering with community organizations to bring real-world learning and problem solving into our classroom!

Congratulations to Mr. Mason’s and Mrs. Davis’s class for competing in their first ever UCS event through Special Olympics!

UCS (Unified Champion Schools) is a Special Olympics program that promotes inclusion by bringing together students with and without intellectual disabilities through sports, leadership, and school-wide engagement.

We are so proud of all of our athletes for their hard work, teamwork, courage, and sportsmanship. Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged our students during this special experience.

Our PTO is amazing, we are so thankful for everything they do!
