Voters and Registration Information 07/12/2024

Under Ohio law, inactive voters will be removed from voter registration lists later this month. Registered voters who have no voter history in the past four years or have submitted a change of address form with the USPS and are no longer eligible to vote at their former address are subject to removal.

Here’s what you can do:

1. Check the Secretary of State’s list of registrations to be purged at https://registrationreadiness.ohiosos.gov. If you are on this list you have until July 22, 2024, to confirm your registration and be removed from the purge list. This site has additional instructions on how to confirm an incorrectly designated registration.

2. Contact your local County Board of Elections to check your registration status. Cuyahoga County residents can confirm their registration status by calling the County Board of Elections at 216-443-8683 (VOTE) or visiting the County BOE website at https://boe.cuyahogacounty.gov/

If your registration is purged or you are not registered to vote, you have until October 7, 2024, to register to vote in the upcoming election. You can register to vote at https://olvr.ohiosos.gov. You can find information on registering to vote by mail or in person at https://boe.cuyahogacounty.gov/voters or by calling the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections at 216-443-8683 (VOTE).

Sincerely,
Shontel M. Brown
Member of Congress

DeSantis, Once a ‘No’ on Storm Aid, Petitions a President He’s Bashed 10/01/2022

Another example of politicians who traffic in anti-government funding yet want it when their states need it. Taxpayers across the U.S. end up subsidizing these states.

DeSantis, Once a ‘No’ on Storm Aid, Petitions a President He’s Bashed The Florida governor, who as a congressman opposed aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy, is seeking relief from the Biden administration as Hurricane Ian ravages his own state.
