Emerson and Yeager Homeschool Academy

What a blessing this 18th year of school has been. 18 years!!! I’m thankful for our parents who entrust their children’s education and care to us. What a responsibility it is but an even greater privilege!

So Kim texted me and said that one of our students had left her a small note on a dry erase board on Thursday and that she saw it today. It is a privilege to be able to work with kiddos and to form relationships with them. We are ending our 18th year in two weeks, and we are so thankful God has seen us through all these years! We are looking forward to # 19.📚✏️🖍️

It’s things like this that make teaching such a blessing! I love that we get to have such strong relationships with our students.

A great way to end the week with a sweet note left by two of our precious girls. We feel so blessed to be able to have the school that we do and to be able to guide and love our kiddos.

If we can teach our children this, it can change their world, not just in education, but in their lives in general.

The 2025-2026 school year is well underway 📚. A fall costume party and outside play in the cooler weather is always so nice! 🍁🎃We love when all the kiddos get outside and play together. We feel so blessed to be able to educate these kiddos!

Teacher goals, that is for sure!

Our youngest graduate! We are so proud of Lanie. Her determination and independence with her education is unmatched. She earned all of her high school credits, has already taken a college course, and she is now on to a vocational school. We are so proud of her efforts!

When you come back to school and there is still snow around, you naturally have a snowball fight! ☃️❄️ These kiddos bring us such joy!
