Today is National Instructional Coach Day, and we are shining a very special spotlight on Mrs. Jennie White! 🍎📚💙

Jennie is a true champion for our teachers and students. She works behind the scenes and alongside our staff to provide support, encouragement, fresh ideas, and the tools needed to help every educator grow and every student succeed. 🌱✨

Her dedication, positivity, and passion for learning make a difference every single day at Valley View Elementary. She is always ready to listen, collaborate, problem-solve, and celebrate the successes of our teachers and our Cubs! 🐾💙

Jennie, thank you for being such an important part of our Valley View family and for helping us continue to grow, learn, and shine together! 🌟

💙🐾 Congratulations to our newest Valley View Beta Club members! 🐾💙

We are incredibly proud of our 4th and 5th grade Cubs who were inducted into Beta Club! These students have shown a commitment to academic excellence, leadership, character, and service, and we can’t wait to see the difference they make in our school and community.

To our new members: lead by example, serve others, and make us proud! 💙

And to all of our Cubs—let Beta Club be a goal for YOU next year! Work hard, make good choices, serve others, and strive for excellence. Your name could be on that list next year! 🐻✨

Slime & Science

Science got a little messy today—and we loved it! Our 5th graders became scientists as they made their own slime and explored what happens when you add an activator to glue.

We watched the ingredients change from a runny liquid into stretchy, squishy slime and discussed the big question: Is making slime simply mixing materials, or does the activator cause a chemical change? 🤔

Lots of hands-on learning, great observations, and of course…LOTS of SLIME!

Dolly’s living spirit was spotted all over campus today…serving in the cafeteria and blessing students and teachers with a Dolly “Carton” afternoon treat!!!

She was such a symbol of joy and love that we can all try to emulate in our daily lives.

Happy 9/25 everyone!!
