As we close out another incredible school year at Cypress Ridge Elementary School, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our faculty, staff, students, and families.
To our teachers and staff, thank you for your dedication, passion, and the countless ways you support our students every single day. Your work truly makes Cypress Ridge a special place.
To our students, thank you for your hard work, growth, and positive energy all year long. You should be proud of all you’ve accomplished.
To our families, thank you for your partnership, trust, and support throughout the year. We couldn’t do it without you.
If you are heading off to middle school, we wish you the very best of luck, go out there and shine! If you are returning to Cypress Ridge, we can’t wait to see you back in the fall.
Have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer!

Fifth Grade Promotion!
Today we celebrated an amazing group of fifth-grade Ospreys as they completed their elementary school journey at Cypress Ridge Elementary. Many have been with us since kindergarten, and it has been a joy to watch them learn, grow, and succeed over the years.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best as they begin middle school. Congratulations, fifth-grade Ospreys—we can't wait to see all you achieve!

Spread the word!
Please complete one form per student.
The purpose of this form is to give you a voice in the classroom roster process. While we work hard to honor your requests, we cannot guarantee your request will be fulfilled. When using a mobile device to make your selection, you may need to scroll left or right to see all teachers. Teachers play a large role in balancing classes for the 2025–2026 school year. Please know that we are committed to ensuring every classroom has a strong, effective teacher.
We will do our best to accommodate one of your choices; however, there are NO GUARANTEES. You must select three different teachers for your request to be considered.
If you select the same teacher for all three choices, your request will be void.
Fifth grade will follow a middle school–style rotation. All students will have Mr. Blackburn for Science, Ms. Kurdak for Math, and either Ms. Blake or Ms. Reang for ELA. We will not be accepting teacher requests for 5th grade.
Deadline for requests: Friday, May 29th at 4:00 PM.
