Big congratulations to our newest inductees of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) for the 2026–2027 school year!

OUTWIT. OUTPLAY. OUTLEARN.
Our 4th Graders spent the morning immersed in Survivor: Spanish Explorers! To kick off their upcoming Social Studies unit, students stepped into the shoes of early Florida explorers—reading, writing, discussing, and competing in physical, artistic, and mental challenges!
A huge thank you to our incredible Fourth Grade Team for always finding innovative ways to bring learning to life and making history an unforgettable adventure for our scholars!

From curious Ospreys to robotics leaders—what an incredible full-circle moment!

Former Cypress Ridge Elementary students returned to where it all began as competitors, mentors, and volunteers during the recent competition hosted by Horizon West Robotics & Team APEX.

Special shoutout to Team APEX members (past and present) Taylor Caldwell, Tyson Cartier, Reece Parker, Emily Caldwell, and Zane Parker for continuing to inspire the next generation, and congratulations to South Lake High School’s BlueShift—led by former Osprey Levi Keeling—on becoming Tournament Champions!

Apple Day Fun at Cypress Ridge!

The kindergartners became little scientists and engineers today! They weighed and measured their apples, counted seeds, built apple towers, and even made bubbly apple volcanoes to learn about chemical reactions!

They also read Dr. Seuss’s Ten Apples Up On Top! and created colorful apple art paired with a sight-word poem. What a fun, hands-on day of learning!
