🚨 ANOMALY REPORT: EAST RIDGE BAND ROOM 🚨
Today’s unexplained phenomenon included several unusually large chickens… and, somehow, two middle school-sized chickens. Scientists remain confused. 🐔🛸
Witnesses reported chicken entities roaming the band room while giant rubber chickens appeared throughout rehearsals. At this time, authorities believe they may be preparing for some kind of coordinated attack. Or a concert. Possibly both.
As we continue preparing for next week’s space-themed performances, students are embracing the mystery, the madness, and whatever strange transmissions are coming from the percussion section.
Tomorrow’s anomaly may be our most concerning yet: reports indicate the band director has been replaced by a chicken conductor. We advise the public to remain calm and avoid sudden movements near the podium. 🚨🎶👽

There’s been another anomaly detected in the band room… 👀🛸
Today, Jazz and Symphonic Band had the incredible opportunity to work with composer Tyler Arcari on his piece Anomaly ahead of next week’s concert! Students got a behind-the-scenes look into the phenomenon itself - hearing the intent and musical details straight from the source. Some of the insights were so specific, we’re pretty sure they came from classified files recovered somewhere near Skinwalker Ranch. 👽🎶
Our students asked great questions, learned a ton, and got to experience what music looks like when the creator is standing right in front of you bringing it to life. Mr. Arcari even suggested another mysterious transmission… er, piece… for us to explore next year.
Come hear the anomaly for yourself at next week’s concert. We can neither confirm nor deny unusual activity in the cafeteria around 6 PM. 🚨🎷🛸

Last night’s jazz concert at was a reminder of why these events matter. Congratulations to the jazz bands from Windy Hill Middle School and Gray Middle School for an awesome night of music. Every group played well, and it was amazing watching these students share the stage, support one another, and celebrate all the hard work they’ve put in this year.
One of the best parts of nights like this happens between the songs: students meeting other kids who love the same things they do, talking music, laughing together, and building friendships that can last all the way through high school and beyond.
Band isn’t just about notes and rhythms. It’s about community. And last night was full of it. 🎶
