Soaking up the last of summer. A little sad the kids go back to school next week, but excited for our after school lesson program to kick off August 10th!!

We stepped out of our comfort zone this weekend and showed with Elite at Wills Park.

We had a rough start in the middle of a tropical storm, with roads underwater. Our hauler broke down on the side of the road. I felt like it was a sign to turn around, but we kept going.

Despite having no warm up arenas, flooded grounds, and a rough start on Friday, my girls showed up and showed out! I’m so incredibly proud of them and all of their hard work and resilience.

On the days when I feel defeated and want to pack it all up, they remind me exactly why I do this….

They are worth it… every challenge, every long day, every early morning, and every mile traveled. These horses and these girls are worth it. 💙❤️💛

So thankful for our barn family for volunteering and helping with the Georgia Council of the Blind day at the barn. We had them out to learn about the horses and ride. We loved every minute of it, and look forward to having them out again!
