I got lucky today with the storm forecast. they didnt arrive at the lake and went around us. The breezes they brought were a ton of fun and enough gusts to keep me on my toes.

On another note this boat is in desperate need of a wash. Not the most photogenic state for her.

This weekend finds us at Mt Dora for their annual wave regatta. were racing out of Gilbert Park Saturday and Sunday with the first race starting at 11.

Sail today was good. A variety of breezes and a good chance to work the bugs out of the new sailing and new main blocks.

Next week we will be in Mt Dora for the regatta uo there.

Im planning to be at the lake Saturday to sail at noon. Hopefully the wind shows too. this will be the first time to get the new wave sail on the water and see what it can do in advance of next weekends regatta in Mt Dora.

With the wind lately plus my travels its been a challenge to get on the water lately. there's no sailing today as I return to Florida from yet another trip.

Anyone interested in heading out tomorrow? breezes look a little better

A nice looking 14 turbo just came on the market. Its a little bit of a haul to get up there as its in Ohio. He's asking $500 for it.

Saturday at the boatyard found us with no wind so it was a good time to work on boat projects. We picked up a new Wave mainsail a few weeks ago so took the opportunity to get it rigged up and tuned. Its sporting an autograph from the last sailor to use it in Corpus Christi at last year's Alter cup.

With the boat on its side like that we can adjust the tension in each batten to get the sail shape just how we like it.
