So proud of our Middle School and High School Drone Racing teams who competed at Apopka High School today. Their put their all into every match! Our High School team made it all the way to the semifinals. Our Middle School team won the "Modeling and 3D Printing Award" for their propeller guard designs and models.

Qualified for WORLDS in Dalla, TX.
14012V took both 4th place in Teamwork and the Design award, both of which would qualify the team to go to Worlds.
14012Z took the Build award, qualifying them to also go to Worlds.
2 of our elementary school teams, 14012X and 14012P, also were invited to Worlds based on their national skills ranking.

This past Saturday, PLA Robotics Rocked IT!
Out of 28 teams:
Finished 3rd, 5th, and 7th in Robot/Programming Skills
Finished 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in Teamwork
Team 14012V Won the top middle school award, the EXCELLENCE AWARD. Which now qualifies them for the North/Central Florida Regional Championship.

Pinecrest Lakes Academy hosted the first in-person Robotics Competition in Lake County back on October 23rd. It was a huge success and a lot of fun!
