Congratulations to our Summer 2025 graduates in the Master of Agricultural Education program. Sally Clarke, Branson McClain and Nicholas Merrick graduated Friday, August 8th at Clemson’s Littlejohn Coliseum. We appreciate each of you choosing us for your Master's Degree. This past Thursday, the first two Ph.D. students in the Agricultural Education Concentration of Clemson’s new Agriculture graduate degree program (Department of Agricultural Sciences) graduated during the University’s Doctoral Commencement.
Dr. Audie Cherry’s dissertation title is A Convergent Mixed Methods Study of the SOCIAL Studies Academy in South Carolina Middle Schools. His committee chair was Dr. K. Dale Layfield and the other committee members were Dr. William Bridges, Dr. Christopher J. Eck (Oklahoma State University), Dr. Joseph L. Donaldson (North Carolina State University), and Dr. Qiong Su. Congratulations, Dr. Cherry!
Dr. Rosemarie Somers’ dissertation title is Empowering Employability: Voices of Black Women Leveraging Community Cultural Wealth in an Undergraduate Agricultural Program. Her co-chairs were Dr. K. Dale Layfield and Dr. Golnaz Arastoopour Irgens (Vanderbilt University) and the other committee members were Dr. Christopher J. Eck (Oklahoma State University), Dr. Karen High, and Dr. Rachel Wagner. Congratulations, Dr. Somers!

Congratulations to our Fall 2024 graduate in the Master of Agricultural Education program, Cameron Brooks Cole. Cameron teaches agriculture at Bryson Middle School in Simpsonville, SC. We are very proud of Cameron!
