After careful consideration, Clemson’s high risk travel directive has been updated making way for some student travel to resume. A select number of education abroad opportunities have been approved for the Fall 2021 term. These programs have been carefully reviewed with consideration to factors including local conditions, program services and support and ability to adapt to any changing situations. The list of approved programs is linked in our bio.

Kellie Rooney, February's Intern of the Month, attended the TEAN: Bond Univeristy at Gold Coast program the spring semester of her sophomore year! Kellie describes her academic experience abroad, "The professor at Bond University were so brilliant. In a lot of my classes, we would use textbooks that my professor helped write! Bond University was also so beautiful, and it was a great environment to be in!"

February’s Intern of the Month, Kellie Rooney, attended the TEAN: Bond University at Gold Coast, Australia program! Kellie describes her favorite memory as, “My favorite memory while abroad was traveling to Thailand! The culture there was so different from Australia, so it was interesting to see all of the local food and culture there. While I was there, I got to be with elephants 🐘, tigers 🐅, and I traveled to Phi Phi Islands 🌴!”

Check out Emanuel, a senior Chinese and International Business major who attended the CU in China program! Emanuel describes the culture, “Some of my favorite experiences while abroad in China was getting to visit all the landmarks, visiting Shanghai for a weekend, and adjusting to the dining culture in China. I also definitely recommend everyone to visit Shanghai if the opportunity arises, it was one of my favorite cities there! They call it the New York of China!”
