This week's flyover for Clemson vs. Miami will be conducted by a USAF KC-135R Stratotanker from the 54th Air Refueling Squadron from Altus Air Force Base, OK, and flown by 2009 Clemson alumn Capt James "V12" Villeponteaux. We'll let him take it from here...

CLEMSON FLYOVER 9/19:
This week's flyover for Clemson vs. UNC will be conducted by a United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III from 437th Airlift Wing from Joint Base Lindsey Graham in Charleston, SC, and flown by 2018 Clemson alum and twin brothers, Captain Cameron Dunker & Captain Evan Dunker.

Update: Due to weather, our flyover was canceled tonight. The aircraft have safely landed and the crew is on their way to Memorial Stadium.

CLEMSON FLYOVER 9/12:
This week's flyover for Clemson vs. GA Southern will be conducted by (4) Marine Corps F-35Bs from VMFA-224 out of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC, and led by a Clemson graduate!

There's still plenty of time to sign up for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb happening on Friday, September 11th, 2026 at Littlejohn Coliseum! This annual stair climb is in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost during the September 11th, 2001 attacks that changed our nation forever. This event is proudly hosted and organized by Clemson University Military & Veteran Engagement

The event starts at 8:00AM inside Littlejohn Coliseum and symbolizes the resilience and strength of our nation. Join us in paying tribute to the fallen by climbing the Littlejohn stairs and/or concourse.

This year's theme is: 110 Floors of Resolve; 25 Years Later, Clemson Remembers.

Some frequently asked questions:

What if I can't climb the stairs?

No problem! Join us for the overall program and walk the concourse instead of climbing the stairs.

Can I run the stairs?

No. Unfortunately, the Coliseum steps are not safe for running. You can, however, run the concourse.

Where can I park?

Most attendees will have a Clemson University parking pass and should park in approved lots. For community guests, first-come, first-served parking is available at lots 3A and 3E. See map here: https://iptaycuad.com/app/uploads/2020/01/5474935.pdf. We also ask that anyone parking in 3A please come to the Perimeter Road crossing next to the McFadden Building to cross Perimeter Road to the Coliseum.

Will the event be canceled for inclement weather?

Because the event will be held indoors, it will still take place if it's raining.

Is the Littlejohn Coliseum clear bag policy in effect for this event?

Yes, the clear bag policy is in effect for this event, so we ask that you do not bring backpacks or rucksacks to the event. You are welcome to carry a flag while climbing stairs, if you'd like to do so. Students and Clemson ID Card holders may leave their backpacks outside in a guarded area. All others are asked to leave all non-clear backpacks/bags in their vehicle.
