Successful ChBE alumna and new PAB member, Dr. Shana Bunker, visited Prof. Ogale’s office to see his historical collection of samples produced by his students. Shana holds a 3-D printed part she produced by the Stereolithography process in 1997 when she worked in the Ogale Group as an undergraduate assistant!

Dr. Jessica Larsen is working to develop a cure for brain-eating amoebas using nanoparticles 🦠 These particles carry amoeba killing drugs to the brain through the nose!

Dr. Ana Alba-Rubio created a coloring book as part of her CAREER Award. The coloring book supports women in STEM and will be distributed to schools in the area! A digital copy of the coloring book can be found in the article. Link in bio.

One highlight about our program is that a B.S. in ChBE is valuable on its own without an M.S. degree, with significant earning potential right out of the gate (~$70k/year average)! Who doesn't want that? We hope to CU there!
