This past Saturday, the Clemson School of Nursing welcomed future Tiger nurses into its state-of-the-art simulation lab for the annual Bring Your Daughter to Clemson Day, hosted by the Clemson Women’s Alumni Council. 🩺🐅

Through hands-on, interactive stations, participants explored the world of nursing by practicing heart and lung assessments, applying sterile gloves, learning about oxygen and suture removal and discovering the many skills nurses use every day. The day offered an exciting glimpse into the future of healthcare and inspired the next generation of Clemson nurses!

Congratulations to Dr. Luigi Boccuto, an assistant professor in the Clemson University School of Nursing, for receiving Clemson University's Junior Researcher of the Year award! This award recognizes high-achieving faculty who publish research that improves society.

We are so proud of Dr. Boccuto and grateful for his contributions to the medical field and our college! 🏆

Another amazing Health Careers Night at the Drive game at Fluor Field! ⚾️ Nearly 1,000 K–12 students joined us to discover the many paths within the health industry. From hands-on activities to engaging exhibits along the concourse, it was a memorable experience for all who attended!

Incredible work by our Prisma Scholars!

Through their Community Donation Drive supporting the nurses at Clemson Downs, students collected 672 food items and 294 care items. This initiative is an example of students turning compassion into action and giving back to our community health nurses.

Proud of the Creative Inquiry Improving Nursing Student Mental Health team for presenting at the AnMed Nursing Innovation & Knowledge Summit! Our study explored how meditation rooms can support undergraduate nursing students’ mental health.

Findings showed significant reductions in anxiety scores after just a 20-minute guided meditation—highlighting the impact of simple, evidence-based wellness interventions. Supporting student well-being is essential for academic success and future nursing practice.

Yesterday’s 4th Annual Go Mobile Summit was an inspiring day focused on expanding nurse-led care and strengthening the healthcare workforce for rural and underserved communities across Appalachian and Midlands, SC 🌄🩺

From engaging speakers and real-world impact stories to insights on mobile nursing and mental health services , we highlighted how Go Mobile is making a difference through innovation, data, and community partnerships 🤝📊

The day featured a dynamic community panel, a special video presentation, and a forward-looking graduate student discussion on the future of DNP practice 🎓

We wrapped up with a call to action 📣 and a celebration of progress—while looking ahead to what’s next 🚀
