Congratulations to both Dr. Zhen Li ( promotion to Associate Professor with tenure) and Dr. Phanindra Tallapragada (promotion to full Professor) on their academic career achievements. Their contributions to the ME Department’s mission of teaching, research, and service are greatly appreciated and making a difference in the lives of our undergraduate and graduate students.

Our ME graduate students visited the GE Vernova Facility in Greenville to gain insights into the design, assembly, and monitoring of the biggest gas turbines in the world! We would like to express our gratitude GE Vernova for hosting the students and to the Graduate School STEM & Industry Initiatives Program for generously sponsoring our transportation. This was an exceptional educational experience!
