Kicking off this by meeting our next member of exec!! Meet Senior Mary Mac Evans, our amazing Vice President of Membership Experience!

“Growing up with two older brothers always made me long to have a sister. The moment I got accepted into Clemson, I knew I was going to rush. From the moment I stepped into Manning on move-in day, I already felt a sense of home. During recruitment, Tri Delta also gave me that same sense of home and comfort, and I knew that’s where I was meant to be. I now have over 300 sisters who I share my everyday life with, whether that’s walking to class together, eating in the dining hall, or simply sitting on the couch. I have made some of my best and most unforgettable memories with these girls. Stepping into this role, I cannot wait to help girls find their sense of belonging. Each girl has her own background and her own reason for wanting to rush, and I hope Tri Delta can fulfill that for them. I cannot wait to see each girl in PC 26 reach her goals and become the woman she is meant to be.”
🩵, Mary Mac Evans

This past week some of our leaders, Mary Mac Evans (VPME), Abby Shepard (VPCR), and Payton Starnes (Philanthropy Chair) had the opportunity to travel to Memphis, Tennessee to represent our chapter at the St. Jude Tri Delta Celebration! They were able to experience the impact of the Children’s Research Hospital first hand through tours and hearing testimonials from many amazing speakers, including patients and their inspiring stories, doctors and their life-changing research, as well as volunteers and their motivational experiences. In addition, they were able to learn more ways in which we can rally chapter and campus involvement to rally support for St Jude.

We are so thankful to be able to share our story and inspiring experiences, as well as share the stories of those who are the reason why we do what we do. Treatments and research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been able to raise the childhood cancer survival rate to over 80%, and that number is only growing with support and philanthropic efforts!

Our chapter could not be more proud to share that we were able to raise over $131,000 in this past year to help support and provide for all of the families impacted by childhood cancer, ensuring that they never see a bill for any travel, housing, food, or medical expenses! Thank you St. Jude for doing what you do!🩵💛

Kicking off the weekend by continuing our series! Today we have our amazing Vice President of Chapter Programming & Development, ! Kylie is a senior from Goldsboro, North Carolina. This is what her time in Tri Delta means to her!!

“To me, Tri Delt means everything in my college experience! I have made the most genuine, fulfilling friendships that I could’ve ever asked for coming to college. Being an out of state girl, I really didn’t know what to expect coming to Clemson. Tri Delta has welcomed me with open arms and I truly feel as if these girls will be by my side for life. From living on the hall (which was the best year of my life) to now being neighbors with all of my best friends, I have formed a whole new meaning of friendship that I will always cherish! I am so excited for my role as VPCPD and to really support our girls while I hold this position. I always want to be the friend that anyone can reach out to and feel comfortable around, so giving back to our chapter in a way that is uplifting is super important to me! I love these girls and I love Tri Delt!!!! DLAM💙”

We love you 🩵🩵
