To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Chi Phi fraternity, several brothers attended the Chi Phi Nationals convention in San Francisco, California. The Delta Theta Chapter was recognized and awarded the Outstanding Philanthropic Service Award & Alumni Association of the Year Award, both of which mark consecutive years of receiving such honor. The Annual Doug Gibson Memorial Golf Tournament was the chapter’s most notable philanthropy event this past year. At the convention, the tournament was recognized and the Chi Phi National Philanthropy Award was renamed after, late chapter member, Doug Gibson.

Congratulations to all of our brothers who earned academic honors this past semester. We are extremely proud for their hard work and dedication, and are excited to see it continue into the next semester!

With the fall semester approaching, we wanted to take a second to highlight our chapters commitment to giving back to our community. Special shout out to Philanthropy Chair Josh Cahill and Community Service Chair Camp Wynn for their hard work this past semester.

The Delta Theta Chapter of Chi Phi recently celebrated our Fall ‘23 Alumni Weekend, and we would like to give a huge thanks to all that were able to make it. In particular, thank you to those who participated in the Alumni Weekend raffle, which contributed $775 towards our goal. Additionally, we would like to thank all friends and family who were able to donate. Through their generosity, and the many fundraising events performed by our Chapter, we hit our goal of $4750 for Rise Against Hunger and covered the cost of all 12,096 meals that we packaged last month.

Our brothers had a great time at formal in Myrtle Beach this weekend, can’t wait to be back next year!
